Filipa Navarro
Filipa Maltez Beirão Falcão Navarro is an architect born in Castelo Branco in 1982, who obtained her Integrated Master's degree in Architecture in Coimbra, 2008. Currently is she´s a PhD student in Architecture at the University of Beira Interior, in the area of Modern Portuguese Architecture. Throughout the research process she is author and has collaborated in several scientfic papers published in congress proceedings under the topic “Avieiras Villages”. Between 2009 and 2012, she was Scholarship Assistant, in the Project IV and I discipline of the Master's in Architecture at the University of Beira Interior. During this period, she´s always involved in the coordinaton of organizing students works Exhibiton, and Internatonal Workshop, such as “Productive Landscapes for Self-Sustainable Cites”. Alongside whit academic research, Filipa always worked as an independent architect, from 2009 to the present day and year 2024. In her studio the main focus is the Rehabilitaton with various programs ranging from housing to tourism as a way of developing and improving the area of interventon, always respectng built heritage.
