Filipe Temtem

Filipe Temtem is an Architect by the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon; Master in Theory and Practice of the Architecture Project by the ETSAB of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia; and PhD in Architecture and Urban Studies by the FADEU of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.He served as Director in the Housing Cooperative "A Nossa Casa", highlighting his work in the studio "PR Arquitectura Global", where he won the Architecture and Public Space Competition "Fundação António Manuel Sardinha". He is currently a member of the "OASRS" and co-founder of the studio "FTTA Architecture & Design", selected to participate in the 6th edition of the Lisbon Architecture Triennial and awarded the Inclusion Award 2022 at the New York Architecture Biennial.In the academic field, he was a member of the "International Research Group of Architecture & Society" of the ETSA in Barcelona and the "Urban Research & Design Laboratory" of the Technical University of Berlin. His research work has been highlighted with the award for the “best doctoral thesis UC 2021” and the “Abertis Chile 2021”, being decorated in national (Publication of Disciplinary Relevance DIRIP 2021, 2017 and 2016) and international (Best Paper SIIU Lisbon/São Paulo 2020) competitions.He is currently an Researcher at Architecture School of the San Sebastián University and adjunt teacher the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, directs the “City and Mobility Laboratory” and integrat the “Elemental Chair”, led by Priztker Alejandro Aravena.
