Inês Daniel de Campos

Fundão, 1983. Degree in Architecture (2002-2008) and master’s degree in the same area, from Universidade Moderna, Lisbon (2008) with the theme “Miradouro Cities on the Coast: Connecting the Upper and Lower Parts of the City using the Spaces in Between”. PhD in Architecture (2010-2015) from the University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, with the theme “Architectural Design and Metallic Structures in Housing – Applied Spatial Modular System”. Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Beira Interior, since 2010, where he teaches the curricular units of design I, II and III and descriptive geometry. Her main activities at the university are teaching and research in Architecture, architectural design and metallic structures, typologies in modular systems, living space, ruins and rehabilitation. She was a member of the Course Committee (2017/20). Collaborating member (2012) and researcher (2016) at CIAUD, collaborating on projects coordinated by Doctor Amílcar Gil e Pires in the line of Research: Architecture of the City and Place. Coordinator of the Research project (2018) “Modern and Contemporary Architecture with Steel Structures and the Relationship with Place”. They are part of the Research Group on Architecture, Place and Landscape – ARCPLAND (Architecture-Place-Landscape). Holds National Invention Patent No. 108119, “Modular Structure in Defined Steel Profile with Equal Tab Angles, ‘L’, Cross-Shaped”, at INPI – National Institute of Industrial Property. Member of the Centro Regional Board of Directors of the Order of Architects, for the three years 2020/2023. Founding architect at INES CAMPOS studio^arquitetura (2015), she develops architectural projects of different types and scales.
