Susana de Castro Azevedo
Born at São Gonçalo, Amarante, in 1979. At 2007, graduate in Architecture from University of Coimbra. In 2017, Master’s degree in Buildings Rehabilitation from University of Coimbra at Civil Department. In 2022, joined PhD in Architecture at University of Covilhã, is currently working on a thesis that focuses on the theme Conservation, Rehabilitation and Heritage, in Architecture. Since 2007 work as a freelance professional, and since 2011 as an architect at Trancoso Municipal House. While master’s student was part of the first phase of the Project “Viseu Património”, with the research “Concepts and practices in building intervention”. Professional, is one of the interlocutors between the County and the historical villages Of Portugal in the process of Classifying Historic Villages as UNESCO Heritage Sites.
